Before and After Care

  • Avoid alcohol and blood thinners such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil for 24 hours before the treatment.

  • Avoid heat treatments such as saunas, hot tubs, and sunbathing for at least 24 hours before and after the treatment.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after the treatment.

  • Do not massage or rub the treated area for at least 4 hours after the treatment.

Contraindications

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • History of neuromuscular disorder

  • Active skin infections or rash in the area to be treated

  • Allergies to any of the ingredients in the neurotoxin

  • Patients who have recently undergone other facial treatments such as chemical peels or laser resurfacing.
